Macleod Recreation and Fitness Centre offers a Reformer Pilates group fitness class to help you reach your fitness goals.

We offer Reformer Pilates as part of our group fitness timetable. The class runs for 45-minutes and takes place in our programs studio with state-of-the-art Reformer Pilates machines.

Whether you’ve taken part in Reformer Pilates before or have always wanted to try it out – our class is suitable for all fitness and experience levels.

  • Mondays and Wednesdays at 9:15am, 10:15am, 5:30pm and 6:30pm
  • Fridays at 10:15am, 11:15am, 5:30pm, 6:30pm
  • Saturdays at 9:15am and 10:15am

What is Reformer Pilates?

Reformer Pilates is a group fitness class where participants perform various movements and stretches on a Reformer Pilates machine (sometimes called a Reformer Pilates bed). The machine moves backwards and forwards and features springs and straps which can either support or add resistance to your workout.

So, what does Reformer Pilates do?

Reformer Pilates improves your overall fitness levels by proving a low-impact, full body workout. While you won’t build lots of muscle like you would with a weight training class, you’ll still develop your strength and fitness and improve your flexibility, balance and posture.

Bookings

You can book Reformer Pilates online. Simply follow the instructions below to book your class.

  • How to book your group fitness class online
    1. Login to your online account using your email address and password. 
      • First time logins: If you are a member, you will already have an account set up. Please use the email address you have provided us. If you haven’t visited us before, or do not have an existing account with us, please visit the online customer portal. Select 'Join or book now' and follow the prompts.
    2. Select ‘Book’ from the main menu.
    3. Select ‘Group fitness / Casual programs’ from the sub-menu.
    4. Use the filters and click through the dates to find the class you want to book.                    
    5. Select 'Book now'.
    6. Select 'Book now' again.                                                                                       
    7. Accounts with multiple payment plans will be prompted which individual they wish to register. 
    8. Make payment (casuals only). 
      • Pay for a single session via credit / debit card. 

    Credit / debit card

    1. Enter your credit / debit card details.
    2. Make payment.
    3. Check your email for confirmation.
  • How to cancel your group fitness booking
    1. Login to your online account
      • Use your email and password.
    2. Cancel booking
      • Navigate to 'My Bookings'.
      • Select 'Cancel Booking'.
  • Booking conditions
    Bookings open 72 hours prior to the class start time (to the minute).

    Cancellation policy

    Casuals / multi-visits: Cancellations made no later than 60 minutes before your booking will result in a product return being added to your online customer account. Bookings cannot be cancelled after your booking or less than 60 minutes prior and are not allocated a credit.

    No-show policy

    Three 'no-shows' to a booked class in a seven day period may result in a seven day exclusion from booking online. Please note this exclusion refers to online bookings only. You will still be able to book and attend in centre during this online booking exclusion period.

Platinum members can take part in Reformer Pilates for free as part of their membership!
