Macleod Gymnastics school offers weekly classes for young children aimed at children three to five years. Our classes are also flexible and where appropriate can accommodate children younger than the listed age groups. The program enables children to develop and strengthen physical, social, and cognitive skills, as well as bone and muscle development. The classes provide structured learning and the freedom for children to play and explore. Sessions are also a great way to meet parents and kids in your area.
Ages: 2.5 - 4 years
Class Times: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Pre Gym is a structured preschool gymnastics program which teaches young children how to move their bodies confidently through balancing, jumping, landing, rolling, swinging, and more.
Pre Gym classes are themed and incorporate free play, group activities and circuit-based gymnastics.
Active participation and assistance from a parent or guardian is required.
Ages: 4 - 5 years
Class times: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings; Monday to Friday afternoons.
The program teaches the basics of gymnastics with a strong emphasis on participation, teamwork and safety.
Kinder fun focuses on core physical skills such as running, jumping, balancing, catching, kicking, and throwing. This introductory level provides a foundation for confident movement in all physical activities and sport, as well as establishing a strong skill base for more advanced gymnastics.
The Macleod gymnastics coaches ensure the gym equipment is set up safely and guide each session to ensure a stimulating environment is provided for your child to engage in self-directed play.
